To celebrate Air Max Day 2018, nike held the nike: On Air contest which gave residents the chance to create their own Air Max designs inspired by their hometowns. After working alongside nike developers, Gwang Shin debuted his nike Air Max 97 'Neon Seoul' sneaker in April 2019. The Neon Seoul pays tribute to his city, Seoul, and draws influences from the famed neon signs in South Korea鈥檚 capital. The leather upper is decorated with vivid-colored piping, paying homage to the city that inspired the design. The Neon Seoul is a must-have for any Air Max fan and is sure to turn heads when worn.
